Comments: The old Penn station gave a sense of appreciation in NYC, now the underground station provides a sense of obstruction and stress. Designs for this new station look beautiful and it will be a boost to NY economy!

Comments: Demolition of the original Penn Station was a travesty in a city that treasures its architectural landmarks; Moynihan Station has the potential to begin making amends to the people of New York.

Comments: A first class passenger rail station on the west side of Manhattan is certainly overdue. The present one is inadequate and an embarrassment for a City as great as New York.

Comments: This is encouraging- the Architects for these renovations must supress their egos and be true to the artistic intent of the Farley Building- and Yes, I mean Beaux Arts.

Comments: I commute to NYC- Penn station currently is jammed, warren like and is a poor way to arrive in such a world class city. Hopefully this new station can be built without breaking the bank. 1.5 Billion seems like an awful lot to finance.

Comments: Moynihan Station Should be built to revive the old glory days of Pennsylvania Station. The only way to revive the old PRR Station is with a new Moynihan Station.

Comments: With the overcrowdig of the current Penn Station and Port Authority building a new tunnel to increase train flow, an expanded station is necessary to handle the volume. It is also a complete travesty that MSG was given the goahead to build on the site of the original Penn Station in the first place, and force those entering NYC into a maze of clostrophobic tunnels. The plans for the new, expanded system of stations is a great example of taking a positive step toward future ecomonic success, and it is doing so in a much more sustainable way that by merely tearing down and building new. What better way to place people entering into a good mood than to allow natural sunlight and arches of grandeur to slow them down, look around, and perhaps purchase or contribute to the local economy even more than they have in the past.

Comments: I'm glad to see hope revived for this project. Is it possible that the glass canopy over the main hall be redesigned, possibly by Calatrava? That would be a spectacular way to enter NYC!

Name: Tom Fouche
City: Bellevue
Comments: I fully support the above stated resolution.

Name: John Ohanian

Comments: Penn Station was once one of the greatest rail stations in the world. In a move tantamount to a crime, it was destroyed and replaced by a seedy basement. Done right, a new Moynihan Station can recapture the grandeur of the past and take it's rightful place among the world's great rail stations.

Comments: Moynihan Station would an ideal way to, at least in part, undo one of the most horrific crimes against architecture ever committed, the destruction of the original Penn Station. We've all suffered long enough with the monstrosity built in its place. All of us need and deserve a Moynihan Station that lives up to its potential.

Comments: Penn Station, a major organ in the body of New York, is an atrocity. A depressing inferno that infects its passengers with gloom and despair. New York City deserves more than this. In a city where anything is possible, we can make this happen, can't we?

Comments: The only way to correct the tragedy of 1963 is to tear down MSG and 2 Penn Plaza and to rebuild Penn Station on the original site. This facility can be used by LIRR, and Moynihan Station can be used by Amtrak and NJT, with a people mover connecting both stations.

Name: Bob Monek
City: Ardmore
Comments: Penn Station is the pits. New York City deserves and needs a grand entry way for all of its visitors.

Name: Sean Pennington
City: Brooklyn
Comments: A replacement for the current Penn Station should be a priority of the City of New York; as the urban rennaisance of America continues this transportation portal will only grow in both importance and symbolism.
