Moynihan Station cleared a critical hurdle in July 2005 with the selection of the Related Companies and Vornado Realty Trust as the team for the redevelopment of the historic Farley Post Office building. The team has a long history of success in local development, and is now hard at work negotiating plans for the station with Moynihan Station Development Corporation, Department of City Planning, transit agencies and others.
